Some are even donating to WWF to support the cause of a CITES listing.

They are going to be in for one rude awakening in a couple years when they realize the purely commercial guys are going to scream bloody murder if they get shut down and recs are still allowed to kill juveniles. This is the exact scenario the enviro groups hope for is that the different groups of fisherman shoot eachoter in the feet. Look at what happend with the cod. The commercials got cut back so they took away Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, and march away from the recs.
    You're outta your mind.

If they made adult deer an endangered species.... Do you honestly think they are going to allow you to go around shooting baby deer?

What's even more disturbing..... If you were shooting pheasants and it was constantly disturbing the habitat of the endangered deer, do you think they'd still allow you to shoot pheasants?

How long until all of Cape Cod Bay is a protected marine preserve?

Alarmist...sure. Going to happen...most likely not. Is there an entire well funded environmental machine trying to make this happen.

YOU BET YOU'RE FUCKING ASS THERE IS!

This is just the first step in their master plan, they have already eliminated groundfish fleet with regulations and stopped fishing for striped bass in federal waters next will be the tuna fleet, I hate to say it but their only a couple of steps from making Stellwagon and Jefferies the M.P.A that they want.
