why do I love cod fishing

I am not sure why I love cod fishing? I fish for tuna and bass but there is something about fishing the bank in the sand eel masses and its cod on, why do we love cod fishing???

Could be the powerful fight with drag screaming runs? Or maybe the worm filled fillets? The sporting light tackle with minimal terminal weight? Perhaps the traditionally calm seas and fair weather?

There's ton's of reasons to love cod fishing...

not sure what to think of that post. For me jigging and the feel of that sudden stop and a nice 30lb cod comes to the surface, what more can I say

those sand eel lures are good for a few cod until they're junk.... I do love bottom fishing 'cause they taste so good, and its constant fun action for those who aren't die hard fishers, in moderation of course.

Don't worry about me I'm just f-in around. I don't care all that much for jigging cod compared to fishing for bass or tuna and marlin offshore, but it definately beats sitting on your *** fishing for nothing, and thats all i've been doing so far this year! Go get em!
