Hopefully all with smaller boats learned from last weekend what "subsiding to 3 to 5" and "becoming 2 to 3 feet" really means in late Oct.
Probably going east unless a certain dockmate with a 45 goes south![]()
Larry,
I'm looking at Hydro or Welker or both.
I'm looking to go east Sunday. I'm not sure if I will target Crab Ledge or make the longer run to the Regal Sword or the old BB.
What do you guys think? Has the last 12 days of wind pushed bait out of the inshore waters?
Mike
looking to get out Monday am east to CL with a slight possibility of RS - need very good conditions for that kind of run and I need some sort of intel that it would be worth the time/$$. Not too many reports on either area lately, most likely d/t the weather last 2 weeks.
If I do make it out, I will post results!
Lady J on 68
Looking at Sunday, CL and east if conditions allow, I'll be making the final call on Saturday. I just don't trust going south this time of the year in my little boat, especially after what happened over Columbus day weekend. I just can't imagine the joy of expecting a light and variable and coming home 80 miles into a 3-5 NW sea. The Other Woman will have her ears on 68. Intel might be scarce between now and then with the gale, so I hope to be chattering away on Sunday...
Avoiding the masses who have been studying the recent reports and self promoting videos about the "SECRET WHITING GROUNDS" in the bay. I am heading to the NEC and points east and hoping the fish are still around. We have freshly re-strung Rock On pink bars ready to drag until we get a fish or dark (which ever comes first).![]()
