Where to stay on St Johns?

if you can afford it try and rent a private villa... i stayed in a house in chocolate bay a couple years ago and it was the best vacation ive ever had

Voodoo is dead on for Chocolate Hole (no kidding) bout the villas. You can really get a bargain right now, just talk'em down.
I just got two weeks in St.Martin for 1000.00, that's $71.42/day with kitchen, pool, beach and all. On redweek.com.
You can't stay home for that kinda money!

I went to St. john in august with my wife and we stayed at the westin. The food and drinks were vry expensive ex.(chicken quesidilla, and 3 beers at poolside bar $49) and the beach there wasnt the nicest. But they did have little catamarans and other toys that you can use free of charge. We ended up renting a jeep and hitting all of the other beaches around the island and it was a blast. Gallows point looked nice and we said we would probably stay there next time, and i also second zozo's for dinner and it was great.
