Where did the Tuna go?? Not on Jeffreys anymore?

Left the dock at o-dark 0600 Monday 26th aboard FourTunate with Jeremy (owner of the 305 Albemarle~ Maine Priority)

Steamed through the Scantums with no life & few birds

Arrived south of the curl and north of the Cove

Few birds.....couple of whales

Few boats....big confused seas at 0730

Put out our conservative 4-line spread after we saw one single jumping fish.....

Trolled all over southern Jeffs ~ out to Pidgeon Hill and south toward Cape Ann....back to The Cove.....

We covered a lot of water

Lines out~ steamed back up across Scantum and out to Boon Island & Ledge....

Saw a handful of single/ double fish.....never got a single cast on jumpers today.....first time since early Sept there's been no fish

Another buddy of Jeremy's did a similar trip from top-to-bottom and BACK on Jeffreys, on Sun 25th.....saw nothing

Water temp is down....picked up a low of 47 degrees...not sure how accurate that is.....

A nice day to be out on a beautiful boat enjoying time with an awesome crew....but no Charlie to make it really exciting!

Anybody else given up on Jeffreys Ledge?

Capt Rich

your report = move south if you want tuna, eh?

Like to hear if the Bank lights up this week......that would make sense.....if the fish dont all head down the outside of the Cape first.....
