whats a good blue fin tuna book

it explains a lot, from the beginning of the fisheries to some what present.

I second this. Not the easiest, most fluent read, but an excellent anthropological account of the fishery with enough biological detail to cover a 100 series college curriculum.

Two great reads. The Jarvis book is my all-time BFT favorite, if for no other reason than for the chapter about a pod of orca corraling a huge school of tuna into P-Town Harbor and literally slaughtering them.
