Yeah but Deep, how do you justify "standing tall" when it seems that the men running this site have no integrity. They ban someone because he is a complete mo-ron and a shit stirrer, and then they bring him right back in because they couldn't handle the tears. And once he was back it took all of a full day for the crap to be stirred again. So I agree with Eric on this one and I feel for Dan. Both guys who I know just vaguely. Met Eric at last years RISSA show and he seemed to be very upstanding and did all he could to help educate while he was there for three days. And as far as Dan, I've past him a couple times this season on the water and gave him the old hows it going wave. He's always here to help if he can, even if its just with a real-time report. There comes a time when ADMIN has to step in if they really care about their site but I'm not so sure they do. Just a couple weeks ago, John actually stated he doesn't read through his site anymore. Maybe he's not making any money on it so he's putting his attention elsewhere, but either way, the bashing is simply ruining this site!

Herein lies the problem... Other sites with "moderation" are far worse than this site on its worst day on their good ones. John gave us this site and doesn't believe in banning. The banned often just come back under another name if he does.

Moderators are flawed or swayed by the powers that be in a lot of cases. I got booted off a site where I was a member for years. The power there "thought" I was advertising charter cause I used to charter... The boat I run is private. He was wrong and not enough man to admit his mistake. I made public mention and he flexed his muscle like some school yard bully on a power trip.

Our site here goes the other way. This is our forums and its up to US to keep em clean. If you disagree with someone or dislike their bashing, use the PM function... No babysitters here. Man up and take the fight to the perp directly. Keep it off the threads. We have done fine for years... Occasionally there is a flare up like now but they sort themselves out.

The dooshbags that come on here to stir shit win when ever a good one quits doing what they do. If however guys like you and me crawl up their scuppers with enough heat they go away.

And there it is fellas, PENILETATORS attempt at an inteligent statement. Enough said!

Dan, Eric is right, don't lose any sleep over these idiots. There aren't worth the dried up blood stains that we scrub off our decks at the end of the day. It is obvious to me that these idiots are starting to come unglued because they realize they won't be allowed to chase these fish much longer and they may have to actually look for a real job that involves interacting with other men. And we all know they can't do that, they're just not bright enough.

Capt. Eric is a well respected fisherman who has earned his reputation catching tuna among other fish. I agree fully with tuna meltdown, this crap has got to stop......you guys are a bunch of losers...I don't know why you are being so callous but from my perspective your opinions are not valued on this forum.
