Went East Of Middle Bank Wednesday Sept 21- Report
Real quick one. 17 dogfish,6 cod to 36",4 haddock,1 cusk,3 hake,2 300+ blue sharks and an octopus(no kidding).
Edit: My "octopus" could of been a squid that hit my teaser. Only one inch of the body was left with the two eyes and maybe the tentacles were bit off and shortened. It looked strange, not like any squid I`ve seen, but then again it was chewed up a bit.
Anybody know how the tuna bite was south today?

NW corner
We got to the middle bank as the sun came up. The pogies were healthy and the seas were flat. Moved to the NW corner after the slack and had a nearby boil of tuna working a school of halfbeaks. It was about 300 yards out and moved closer, lasted about ten minutes. Had another on the way in that we coasted within 50 yards of. The tuna were big and came out of the water really close by. We had pogies swimming near them, but there was no interest. FAC seas until just near the Graves on the way in. I love days like this, but they're amazing when you hook one!

Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
I was a little south of you yesterday. All the blue shark you could ever want, including one brute that had to go 350. Left them in the slick when we finally pulled the plug. No mako; all blues yesterday.
