Just wondering, if anyone was able to make it, We got sidelined with and electrical problem 35 mins into the run out way better there than 100 miles from home.

That sucks....glad you got back all right. The forecast now looks kick-ass for Sun./Mon. I'm going. Who else is going????

BTW, one of the two boats that left here Mon. afternoon got back in today. They did best w/yellows at Atlantis, up on the flats. Tons of bait & 80 degree temps out East, but not good fishing. The other boat is due back soon, they fished more to the West........I'll post when I hear more.

Explain to me why I would run 170 nautical miles from the dock through cold and steep water to try and catch fish I can't keep versus running 95 miles from the dock to be in warm blue gulf stream water ?

I think everyone (but me) should fish Georges more often! Big fish out there; non stop bite. I hear they even eat on cable rigs!

Sorry, a Rhode Island-ism; when we say "East", we mean East of say, West Atlantis. Not talking about Georges.
