I forgot to mention this. But I could teach someone

A little bit about the Job:

Starting in March this person would be working on the boats on the good weather days. Part Time $15 per hour

April 1st the boats go in the water.

April first to June 1st this Mate ( or Captain if qualified ) would be the only full time mate working for us on Three boats we average 5 to 10 charters a week during this time.

June 1st to Sept 1st we average 10 to 15 charters per week there are 3 full time mates during this time and 2 or three part time. We also supply mates and guides for private boats during this time.

September 1st to November 1st we average 5 to 10 charters per week and this Mate would be the only full time mate.

November 1st to November 20th we fish commercial and charters averaging 3 to 5 days a week

November 20th to Jan 2nd we Take vacation and have a trip planed to Cabo San Lucas Mexico for ten days and this person is invited to go Providing they put $20 per trip into the Cabo Kitty.

During the winter months this person would be working for me as a carpenter / handyman part time. And working for Taylor at Squid Bars Co.

The Money deal is as follows:

Non Charter work = Start $15 per hour with a potential of $25 depending on ability and experience.

    Charter work:

100% of the tips for your boat the captain will accept tips from the customer and will forfeit it over to you even if you get tipped also. Tip averages $200 and sometimes goes as far as $500

You are Guaranteed $150 per day for full days and $100 for 1/2 Days.

Every day you charter you get $50 on top of your tip for Sprinkling a little water around and getting me a cup of coffee

Plus if you get your captains license while working for me I will pay for 1/2 of your captains course at Mass Maritime when you get your ticket.

Could be a great opportunity for someone interested in a career in the charter boat industry.

Most of our Part time mates and Captains are over 25 years old and are college students or maritime workers with time off. And are as old as 70yrs.

I am "not" looking for anyone who can't work more than 4 days a week.

I am looking for someone who is agile and athletic and willing to work hard and be conscious of safety Hazards.

Most of the people who have had this job for me have stayed for at least 5 years loved working for us and left on good terms ...

Honesty and Down to earth we do not judge a book by its cover. We judge by respect for hardworking reliable and honest people.
