If nobody voted none of these Aholes would be there.

How come when I call any of these politicians they are never available, but they call me six times a night and expect me to vote for a recording.

I say we vote to abolish our government as it stands and create a real democratic government run by the average guy who has worked his way into politics and not bought his or her way there.

How about taking the 5 million dollars they spend on TV commercials a week and donate that to pay off some government debt. If they want to buy their way into government than why not put the money in the government.

If you took the money the politicians gave to bail out the auto industry you could give every Katrina family $500,000 this is a fact.

If you gave control of the American fishing industry back to the American Fisherman. There would be More fish, More fishermen, More money and less bull. And thats just one example.

My turn to Rant about voting.

I have read every post regarding voting.

Is anybody happy with any of our politicians? Or have you ever been happy with the way we are treated as Americans all over the world. Not ME !!! But I am proud to be an American and would fight to the death to protect my freedom, my family and my country. I spent a good portion of my life in this countries Armed Forces.

I have abstained from voting my entire life except for Ross Perough. Because I do not believe our government is a government of the people like our forefather's thought they created. Todays government is about money not freedom the exact thing we fought against in 1776.

They have changed the rules and persecute the right to live and die free men. They help the rich and ignore the poor and the hard working Americans. Farmers and Fishermen and Factory workers should run this country not Lawyers.

They use their money to buy publicity and try to sell themselves as Hard Working people who will support your Ideas. But when they get in a position of power they use it to benefit their own Ideas.

There will be no change from any of the people who are in or support our government as it is today. It will take more than one or two Senators to Change our Government !

So today I am voting, but I am voting for myself and none of the above.

"Sons and Daughters of Liberty" "Fraternal Order of Red Men" "The Boston Tea Party" Had the right Idea. Most of these people where fishermen.

You and I seem to have cast the exact same last general election vote (I have supported some primary candidates since then...but they never get anywhere). I am enrolled, I just cannot see continuing to support a system that provides a false choice: "Big Federal Government A" or "Big Federal Government B."

Somewhere, somehow, all of the actual control in government has been wrested from the hands of the states and centralized in a federal government that acts WAY beyond the scope it was ever intended.

Not that I am a fan of any politician but do you really think Ted Kennedy is or was the only criminal in our system? You are more on track blaming the Media.
Lets hear some Crap about George Bush x 2 or how about some other shit that we could dig out of the past from dead guys. How about Abe Lincoln ( Honest Abe ) he had some shady past no one talks about or knows about regarding the civil war.

How about James Madison Gave Newfoundland to Canada when all of the Newfy's wanted to be US because most of them where from Maine. Imagine if the US controlled the Grand banks then no other country could fish there. during these times trading fishing grounds for favors was common place with the governments giving no thought to the fishermen. They still do this today IE. why does Japan have a quota in the western Atlantic?
