Vacation down the Cape?

I can't believe I haven't seen Nickerson get mentioned.

Nickerson State Park is just north of Chatham. It is on a huge lake, yet right across the street is the ocean. At low time all of these sandbars come out that probably go out 200 yards from the beach and its a cool site to see. If you have a dog, it's a great place to run around in the early am with him/her.

If the GF needs a spa, then maybe do that on some other vacation. Car camping isn't roughing it and I can't stress enough what a great time this place is....
