I have a 26 now, used to be the Flashy Lady out of Menemsha. Its a huge 26 with a beam of 10'6", I love my boat. My browser won't let me copy and paste a URL but there is a 38 Young Bros. with a tower on Yachtworld for 99k, that would be my next boat if I had the money, I used to work on one of those set up for longlining, best sea boat I have been on.

The 26 is a great head sea boat and yes very big for a 26. My dad added to the rudder and the guy we sold it to added a 100 gallon fuel tank under the gunnel along the transom and that did help in a following sea. The boat also had a pretty tall tower and a 14 foot pulpit so that didn't help.
