J. I wish i could take your congrats but dispite Chris's and Fred's poking and proding i was not able to fish the tourney with them this year (Which i am obviously regretting). Actualy your odds are much better then 1 in 100 on the calcuttas. Your odds for each calcutta are different for each callcutta you enter, and are 1 in however many boats are in that particular calcutta, not 1 in how many boats are in the tourney. The reason Akula finished in the money is some larger fish that were caught were not in the calcuttas. Each calcutta is like a little mini tourney within the overall tourney. Only paying the people in that calcutta. Team Akula won second and split 3rd with Tuna Tangler in the $2500 calcutta because no one else in that calcutta weighed a fish. One fish can also win money and place diferantly in severail different calcuttas.
