Well guys check out this months “Big Game Fishing Journal” magazine for my article on tuna fishing out east. “Splish Splash” is the title and it is on page 12. It will give you a great overview of our fishery out east of Chatham and how we fish it. I also want to remind you tuna guys that I will be holding a tuna class on Sunday, May 23rd, from 1 to 6 pm here at the tackle shop, "The Hook-Up!" in Orleans. “Tuna Tactics-101. How to catch bluefin tuna.” is a 5 hour class that covers tuna fishing from A-Z. We will cover boat handling techniques, stand up gear and techniques, equipment needs, NMFS permits and regulations, trolling spreads and tactics, fish preparations, finding and locating fish, gaffing and cockpit harpooning, squid rig repairs, bally-hoo fishing, and much more. I will also be available after the class to answer any questions. The cost is $125 and includes lunch and a take home notebook filled with the class notes and outline. Anyone who attended the “Big Game Bash” will get $50 off this admission price. I have 12 guys signed up for this so we will definitely be holding this class. This will be the only class offered this season. I had some guys who missed the "Big Game Bash" ask me to throw this together so with the tuna season just around the corner, t-minus 19 days and counting, I decided to hold one more class for this season. If you want to learn about tuna trolling this is your class. I will also be adding a section on fighting big fish on small rods and I will give you a brief overview on live bait fishing as well, focusing on the rigging and hook selection etc.. Just call the shop at 508-240-0778 if you would like to get a ticket. Thanks. Capt. Eric

This seems like the perfect time of year to offer it.
I might even show you a special chart with SAT locations on it
