Tuna Meltdown - glad to partner up chasing fish in the Bay. Will post trip dates as summer gets closer.

Riptide - same boat this year, same program. Definitely up to buddy-boat for Canyon trips. Bear Seamount this year for sure....

LB, I've play with the belly strip a little in the past. But not enough to really give it an honest shot. I didn't have much luck, but I do want to give it more time so that I can develop an educated opinion rather than just a guess...

Dan, I am formulating a rough game plan. It starts with a late morning departure from Buzzards Bay for Stellwagon, run and gun (ala Rippy) or jig until sun down... a hot dinner in P-Town (its the closest), then back out for night jigging and troll the dawn bite..And get back through the canal before the SW wind makes a mess the area around the Maritime Academy....

I'll keep you posted as we get close.... If we don't get completely "dogged fished" up, it just may work... I sure is worth a shot.

I'm using the St Croix 7' Saltwater Priemer spinning rod rated 20-40#. SWS70MHF I think is the part number from SC.

Yep, just looked. SWS70MHF - "most rods feature high-performance Fuji aluminum-oxide guide rings"

Terry, are those all metal guides (no teflon liners)?
