Transient Slip in Chatham area?
I have been trying to plan a guys fishing week for some serious offshore action later in the summer. We had been considering staging in Nantucket for access to the far eastern canyons, BB and maybe take a shot at Cultivator on a nice day. However, Nantucket has its challenges (expensive slip, fuel, access to ice, lodging). I was wondering if Chatham would be a good alternative. Normally we are out of Wesport, MA so going halfway (Hyannis) is probably not worth it.
Any recomendations are appreciated. Boat is a 36 Yellowfin. -Seth/Gecko. |

I run out to BB and BC from Falmouth most weekends. I have buddies that run from Hyannis Marina and it cuts out about 20 miles. They will make the run to Cultivator more regularly from Hyannis but its still a pretty good hall.

Ryders Cove might be tough due to the sandbar.
Falmouth to BB/BC every weekend? Wow. Welcome to SFC. Where in Falmouth are you? I'm over in Great Pond.

I've seen that boat around
I'll give you a shout, if/when I see it again. 'Shortfin' has been known to spill a martini or two in Falmouth Harbor as well.I'm usually in a Pursuit CC, green t-top. -Steve
