    Top Shots

    What top-shot color, brand and test do you guys go with? We went this yr with Jinkai smoke blue 220#

    anyone have any opinions on a better combo to better hide the line under water.

    We've been using 150-200 Smoke Blue Jinkai on our balloon/chunking rods and 200 Tuf Line on our Kite Rods.

    Used 200 Momoi Diamond clear up North; tough stuff. Thicker diameter than Jinkai but not as supple. Fought 4 or 5 fish on the same top shot that went for a ride along the keel on a few fish prior...never budged.

    200 lb Momoi smoke blue on the balloon rods and 200 lb Jerry Brown hollow core green on the kite rods. The Momoi is definitely more abrasion resistant than Jinkai.
