Too soon for shark off P-town??

Making a trip out for Charile early tomorrow morning. Will be in area of SEC/PHB. I see some 65 ish degree water about 8nm east of the golf balls (90 fathoms or-so). I'm bringing a few friends from work and if tuna is a fail I was hoping to run out and chum a slick and hope for some blue dogs so that they can at least feel some weight on the rod.

Think its too early?
Either way I'll be on 68 if any of you want a brief update before you steam out hit me up. (Sortie)

Drop somthing close to the bottom beagles are known to be around this time of year.

That didn't even cross my mind, and I've already heard of 2 being caught this year. Thanks I'll try one on bottom for sure.

I was in the general area on Sunday and was reading 59 for temps. I did find 64 in the bay.
