You really like windfinder? IF I had listened to them this fall, I wouldn't have made half the trips I did, many times they weren't even close! We had one day they were calling for 5 to 7's and it was flat as could be...

Didn't end up going, long trip home from maine after hunting the whole week, was pretty tired. Plus a battle with swine flu early last week killed me. Ended up in the woods all day scouting

Anybody headed out tomorow (sunday)? Leaving Patten, Maine in an hour and hope to be home in 8 hours to get the boat ready!

Hotreels! I see Patten, Maine in your post....I've got family up there......and seeing there's only like 100 people in that town.....we probably know the same people. You guys were either hunting or sledding......and I don't think there's any snow up there yet??

We stay every year with the hills at Mt.Chase lodge. My dad has been hunting up there for 20 years. We hunt Huber paper company road, I think its T6 R7.

Ahhhh, thanks....my mother was from Patten....the Perkins family name was a big potato farm and also did a bunch of trucking.....(my g-mother still lives in Patten as does my aunt & uncle (on Rt 11))....thanks for the small world event.

Glad you shook off the flu.....but sure must suck to have it sooooo far from home....and no real drug stores for hours & hours.
