TOGGIN IN BUZZARDS BAY 4/24/10

Went Tautog fishing Saturday 4/24/10 in Buzzards Bay and did prety well for the first trip of the season. Got the skunk out for sure. We caught 21 fish and 11 of them were keepers. The largest being 6 1/2 lbs. We also caught a BONUS fish 1(WINTER FLOUNDER) Had one double header. So it was a great day on the water. Be safe out there.

Congrats - looks like a great 1st day out, and what a nice day weather wise. I was busy knocking out the big items on my spring honey-dew list, but hoping next Sun. weather cooperates...

Nice job with those togs...crabs? Clam? I seem to do better with soft baits in the spring.....

Alloy, Green Crabs fished on a double high / low rig in 17 feet of water. Springtime they come into lower water to spawn.....
