Hide- My Wifes Logged On
When Bob struck 70 boats were hauled into the parking lot where I was. Everyone of them got destroyed. We hauled and trucked inland. We were okay, but didn't have anywhere to slip it for the rest of the year. After that we were in Fairhaven Shipyard for a couple seasons. Surge was bad enough to put boats over the stone bridge in Onset.

Just came in from todays charter. New Bedford habor is filling up fast. Couple of slips open at cozy cove and mobs. They will close the doors once it starts so it may be a place to try and hide I'd you have no where else to go.
Be safe

Yeah, I was going to mention new bedford harbor. They have a pretty robust hurricane barrier they can raise to minimize waves and even surge, but obviously they will still be subject to wind.
It may be far enough east though given the track.
Good luck guys.....

Just finished this weeks charters. It was seriously weird out there today. Like a ghost town in B Bay and vineyard sound. Gentle roll at Nomans from yesterday blow. The harbor in new Bedford is filling fast. They dropped on a few more transient moorings.
Heading back to Pa tomorrow after the boat are secured.
Be safe everyone and best wishes to all.

You guys down in GH should consider running your boat up my way in Quincy.
Plenty of the marinas are 1/3 empty this year and we are well protected.
Only thing I'm doing is replacing some 10 year old dock lines that I should have replaced the beginning of the season, may put a few more ploy balls out also.
