thursday and today report

Thursday we managed a 77'' fish after breaking off a much larger one in the morning. This fish behaved well, and was harpooned in under 10 minutes. Today we got one 85'', fish behaved well and was stuck around the 25 minute mark, after he got hit with the poon he decided to go into the motor, a little bit of a **** show, but we got 2 gaffs into him quick. I know Ed (sushi42) has a video of the fish from today being fought and harpooned.

Awesome job, nice to see you are tuned into the fish nice and early. Macks again today? We have a little lull in cod trips this week and will be outfitting the boat tomorrow for tuna and start this week. Congratulations on a job well done.

Nice job! we checked out the SWC then the SEC then east of the SEC devoid of life, stuck it out there for the tide change. Then headed south of PH and it was dieing down by that time but lotsa bait, some whales, a few marks. But nothing hooked besides a bunch of tinkers.

Nice work! Did you have the kite up? We got three bites last weekend on Macks but they were on spinning. I'd like to put those rods away now and get one without as much drama. I'll be off Chatham tomorrow with Macks but it'll be sporty for drifting.
