Thunder report - CT Fluking opener

Started the fluke season off fishing Saturday and Sunday for a few hours. The predicted 5-10 winds turned out to be a bit higher so some of the drifts end up against the tide. So, the fishing suffered. The fish are in, with the water at around 53, but seemed a bit sluggish. We had a three to one keeper ratio on Sat and went one for one on Sun. But, we only put four in the box in six hours. They ranged from 20.5 to 24.5. Slow start for us but it only gets better from here.

Thanks for the CT Fluke report. Congrats on hooking up to some keepers.

Thinking if headed up to Stonington this week for some Striper fishing. Now I’ll add mid day Fluking and possibly Sea Bass at slack tide to the game.
