Thresher off Salisbury

I saw this on the news the other night and I was like wtf...that's not a thresher. And besides, who in their right mind fishes for cod right outside the mouth of the Mack?

They slayed the cod too I heard. Not your typical cod. Striped cod.

We caught its 10' sister yesterday afternoon 12 miles east of the river. Released unharmed. Not too hard to figure out what kind of shark it was.

I thought it was a blue at first. Funny stuff, I actually caught a cod right off the Merrimack a few weeks ago. It was about 14 inches long and looked like a giant goldfish.

Haha thats great. You would think someone would have noticed that it didn;t have a tail...and it was blue.

Some fisherman there. Probably would have been ugly if they had actually caught a "10 foot" thresher.
