I love it! That is what makes the fact that the boat is out of the water almost bearable.
We'll be skiing before you know it. Killington has scheduled opening day for Friday, Nov. 14th.
Knock it off you guys I'm not ready for that stuff yet!
I still have leaves to Rake and there are more in the trees still
I remember those days well. I spent a few years at Sunday River - First runs were a big deal...Even if you had to hike the mountain...
You work at Sugarbush? You must know Dan and John Egan. Dan and I skied and raced together in Milton. If you see him, tell him Steve Morley says hello. He'll get a kick out thatI haven't seen either in sometime. Not sure how much skiing I'll get in this year with ortho knee surgery scheduled for Jan 7.

Just talked to my neighborhood friends where I grew up in Jersey (Long Valley area- near Morristown (northwestern NJ) (Chester, Pottersville, LongValley, Hackettstown)
Jersey got nailed yesterday with 8+" snow
All the trees still have leaves
There is no snow equipment ready- no road treatments ready
Power poles & lines down everywhere - expecting to restore power to this area by Saturday or so?????
Who's ready for ski season?
I see John Egan in lift lines sometimes but don't knowhim personally. He is always mobbed by tourists.
I don't work for Sugarbush, but this is the view from my home office.
Beautiful! I wouldn't be able to work in the winter.
