    THANK YOU Riptide

We were E of Chatham today when the low battery alarm went off and battery gauges dropped to 7.4Vs. Engines wouldn't turn over and we were dead in the water. A buddy was standing by as we talked with the Tow Ins Co. and USCG. That's when Riptide hailed. He had a jump kit onboard and was enroute. In no time, we had both engines running & on our way. It wasn't long when we lost the SB engine as the yami digital guages faded. But we made slow steady progress...until the whole system failed 10' from the dock. The perpindicular docking procedure wasn't pretty. But we got home!

    THANK YOU TERRY!!!!

    Well done Terry.
Chum you get to keep your record going like Larry. Departures and Arivals are still equal.

    Terry is Prepared

Once again Terry is coming to aid folks in need of help and that is the type of guy he is. He took a bashing here a few years ago and it is now time to move on. The story of him towing in the mariner in distress from the Canyons is unbelievable. I know he does this from the goodness of his heart and I certainly home he never needs it.

I am considering carrying one of those battery packs just in case I or someone else needs a little boost.

Great job Terry and glad you made it back to the dock safely.

    Thumbs up Good job

Terry I have not met you in person. i have read things on some forums trashing you and took it all in with a grain of salt. But since reading about your tow from the canyons and now helping get this guy started, it's pretty obvious to me that you are a stand-up kind of guy. Only a class act would take the time to do these things, someday i'd like to shake your hand. Good job!

Anytime Chum, if I can help I'm always happy too. I try to have "everything" I think I might need on the boat but that often isn't the case. I'm just glad I had the jump pack when you needed it and you got the little ones back in safely.

Nice gaff shot on the pack BTW

Terry called us in to a bite last year that resulted in our *only* hookups of the day, AND took what will probably forever remain my favorite photo to boot: that picture of us doubled up on tuna sits 3 feet from where i sit in my veal-fattening-pen-of-an-office right now and still makes me grin like a mother*&^%er! Major props to Terry.....
