    temperature satabilzer for fish Hold on longline vessel

    Can anyone recommend me a solution for stabilizing my boat fish Hold. Ideally the temperature should be 1-2 degree. But when we catch a lot of fish, we open the fish hold to put the fish in. After few fish the temperature will start to drop then after a while it will go back to ideal temperature. Is there some kind of solution for this problem?

    Refrigerator plates could be added for $$ like some of the high end boats have. Keeps the temperature down and helps maintain the ice.

    Most of the longline vessels operating in your area are using refridgerated seawater holding tanks for storing their catch. It's far better than ice for a number of reasons...
