It is probably a good thing for the Saints that they lost. What happened to the Pats a couple years ago was horrible, I am still not fully over that loss.

Regarding the Pats, as long as they get to the playoffs, I do not really care if they struggled a bit so far this season. Its better to have your problems early, rather than peaking at the wrong time and not winning when it counts, in the playoffs (look at last years Bruins for an example of peaking at wrong time). There is no team that wants to face the Pats in the playoffs, regardless of what they do in the regular season. That said, I would like to see a little more out of the Pats before the season is over because they wont go very far playing like they have been of late.
