    taco 15' telescoping rigger poles

does anyone find the taco 15' telescoping outrigger poles to be too bendy when doulbe rigger? just curious they seem to be a popular pole but someone pointed out to me that they looked to bendy in a couple pics i have of my boat and i have them double rigged just curious if these are too bendy of a pole or is it just the angle of the pic? what are others experiences with these poles?

oh yeah, i drag around a 3 foot titanium spreader bar rigged with 14 11 inch squid and 1 13 inch stinger off each one short and one long. it was my understanding that these outriggers could handle that load but maybe i'm wrong......???????

I could've sworn I saw this boat @ the Montauk Marine Basin the last few weeks of summer-crazy looking center console with some sort of custom chair?

I ran 1 1/2in thick 15ft tigress outriggers on my last boat, they do bend a bit when double rigged, but it looks like they are doing thier job just fine. There's only so much beef to those poles

They look fine to me. Without spreaders on them, all outriggers will bend. My 15ft Taco's bend almost as much as yours in the picture, and mine are non-telescopic. Capt. Eric

Ive come to consider small boat outriggers pretty much a consumable item. Currently running the Taco telescopic 1 1/2 x 15 and Im not really blown away.If I get 3 seasons or so out of them....Ill be ecstatic. Be glad we aren't towing the old Moldcraft squid any more....
