Tillies was hot today! The haddock fishing was excellent by any standard. The average size of the fish is really impressive this year. With 4 guys fishing we were culling haddock by late morning and only keeping fish north of 22". We stopped fishing at one because it just didn't make sense to keep catching with 40 nice bug eyes in the box. We released easily 15 keeper cod with out even trying and had a couple of 10lb cusk for good measure. Check out this haddock that looks more like a football:
