Plenty of tuna fish all over the southern edge of the bank. Fish bit the trolled stuff good in the overcast yesterday but that bite was gone today. Bait is getting taken with ease. A couple under 59 inches have been taken home the last few days. Sub 73 inch fish outnumber the keepers by 5-1. I've been weeding through them to get one most days.

Frustrating day at the bank yesterday. Went through 10 fish without a keeper until my mate was hauling in the kite. Fish was a keeper but not the kind I was looking for - 52 inches. Got snotty as the afternoon went on but the bite was good from 230 pm to 6pm. I lost a good fish in the morning.

I used to be real jealous of John until I got to know him better. Now I look up to him as a mentor, he has caught more Blue fin market fish than anyone else this year on the eastern seaboard with Rod and Reel. He is as open as me when it comes to letting anyone know how and where he is catching fish. He wants to see people catch fish it only helps promote the sport. John has been very generous with me helping me out with bait and helping me get on the fish so I can keep my customers Happy.

I second Greg's words above, I've been lucky enough to cod, tuna (aka ~ horse mackerel) and bass fish with John. 1 trip = years of experience.
