    SW Corner

Just a disaster for me today. The corner was nearly unfishable as was the south edge. 40 mackerel were eaten immediately off the back of the boat all day by stripers. Lots of fish showing and a handful caught by the little fleet out there

    Thumbs down

Made our 1st run to the SW yesterday in the 23 Seacraft. Up @ 3:30 looking for Pogies in Quincy...none...caught only 7 macks outside Boston harbor . After two hrs. looking for bait made the long run from up north. Plenty of bass and the macks went fast. Spent the rest of the day trolling a bar, shankas, rigged macks, jigging, etc. & didn't see any any tuna activity. Saw one boat (white Regulator) with a fish on as soon as we got there, must have been an early bite.

we got one mid morning yesterday. I thought the blob of red on the radar was massive school of the hungry bass, and maybe it was, but seconds later there was a hole behind the balloon and the reel went off.
