September 26th, Weekend report………………….or not.

Well today most of the “buggies” have left the beach with not much to report. One of the guys reported a 38″ fish being caught. But, besides that the stripers were few and far between. Was it too hot this weekend? Do we blame the full moon? The wind? Who knows, but the wind has turned to the northeast, the temperature has dropped and the ocean has kicked up. This sounds like perfect fishing conditions. Bluefish Fishing Weather! Tomorrow’s Monday, the first day after the weekend, and things will probably turn around.

Only other report this weekend was from Mike Parent who reported a few bluefish on bait.
