Went south of the Vineyard yesterday in search of a warm water bubble west of the dump that had disintegrated somewhat over the past few days. Found a temperature break from 65 to 70 degrees, two pods of dolphin (the flipper kind) water loaded with krill and larger baitfish feeding on it and a few false albacore but no tuna and certainly no mahi or wahoo. Considering we are not set up for a canyon trip, unless something drastic happens, it may well be time to refocus on Stellwagen/CCB for the rest of the tuna season.
