    Sunday Dump Run?

The water in the Dump looks pretty interesting, does anyone have any info? I'm currently planning to head east of the Cape, but I really don't want to play bumper boats, if there are fish in that thar water in the dump I might be inclined to play with them instead of being among the fleet. Thanks...

You're not going to get a report because it's been blowing. You just need to make the call, get as much info on the water.

From what I'm seeing on the limited temp shot, is there's clear water and 66 degree temps in the southeast corner.

My guess is it should have some fish in it. The area through the middle the water is not as clear.

Better to have an opportunity to catch fish then to be sitting amongst the fleet with your bobber in the water waiting. I'd rather go hunting for fish. But thats just me,

    Good luck!

Yeah, I agree with the lack of info due to the blow, I was hoping that someone heard from a dragger or something. I'd rather troll that water all by myself than be among the hundred or so boats that are going to be chasing bluefin, but we'll see as the day gets closer, and hopefully I'll pick up a morsel of intel by then.

From what I've been told the draggers were not out either. Long liners just came in and I know where they were. And I know what they caught.

But I think you're on your own. I may be cutting through that area on Saturday and heading in on Sunday. But unless I see big eye busting bait, I ain't stoppin.

I'm committed east/whale watching/GC on Sunday but if I had my druthers I would head down just east of the Star and work towards the Banana Bouy. There is a temp break in there; as well as the edge of the shoal and it should hold bluefin.

Last weekend it held 30" bluefin, bonito, false albacore and a few mahi.

But then again, the water was 74 degrees.
