Stiper Fishing in or around Boston

I live in Watertown and usually do most of my fishing in CT and RI. Is there anywhere close to Boston that I could catch stripers from shore? Any spots around Wintrop/Lynn/Revere/Swampscott area? Any info would be great.

not all that familiar with that area, but i've fished from the rocks in nahant to some success. later in the summer, check out old harbor/pleasant bay in southie. when the blues are crashing bait on the surface and close to shore, there are usually bass underneath. you could always take a harbor island ferry to one of the harbor islands and fish from those rocks. i've camped on lovell's in the past and have fished from shore. didn't have much success, but that doesn't mean there weren't/aren't fish there. good luck

I believe it is called Bass rock( in Nahant- good spot to chunk at night.... just don't have a couple too many beers while there b/c the the price could be high upon leaving Nahant......

The ferry also goes to Georges and at least there you will have facilities and vending should you choose. Ferry is solid deal pay the price and use it all day. Just don't forget about the last one......
