Spoken to a few friends who run charters and private from Plymouth. They think the bite on the SWC is very early, false dawn, maybe an hour or two into the day then nothing??

That is all I know. I may be with you if I can put together a few guys if there is anything to speak of I'll hail on 68.

2 fish hooked, 1 landed and released, both fish were under 50 inches. It was hot for maybe 30 minutes then nothing. Trolled and jigged for 4 hours between SWC and shipping lane.

Alloy - appologies for not reaching you, blew a fuse on the way out and only had a backup handheld VHF and handheld GPS.

Saturday was shot when the two guys that were supposed to join me decided to hook up with some ladies after a night of drinking. Where are their priorities!!

Anyone else see any action off the SWC this weekend?

Shark Bait good job!!!

We worked the SWC, then over to PH, along the East edge to the old BE area, up to the L's then inside to the old H buoy.......long day of trolling. OTW at 3:30 AM off the water at 5:PM with no tuna love.......let's see what happen for this Friday........

Little fog in the AM leaving GH, overall an awesome day!!

Did you guys here any chatter of fish being taken? I am trying to live vicariously through you guys because I have had 2 weekends of weddings with one more coming this weekend. I will be out on the bank in full force in two weeks. The only thing that will keep me at the docks will be a hurricane.

Hey Dan,

Yes one poor SOB had two break off's both with bars. Heard him on the radio. First fish he fought for an hour and I'm not sure on the second, but he broke it of too.

I did hear one guy say 56" fish is in the box, and another guy say fish in the boat......that was about it. There was a hell of a pack of boats on the SWC Friday, my guess would be the guys that hooked were up North......

Send a card and go fishing I know what you're going through man.......they'll be there for you when your weekends free up
