I keep forgetting to mention The Stellwagen Bank Charter Boat Association. http://stellwagencharterboats.com

This association was started about ten years ago to fight for less stricter Cod regulations by a group of Charter Captains and mates. Since then the club has produced some great results for fishermen regarding all the species of fish and laws on Stellwagen bank and the Gulf of ME.

The membership is open to all types of fishermen from charter captains to recreational boat owners and some people just like fishing and do not have boats. We have about 200 active members and around 200 non active members. Our speakers are usually government officials, Scientist and agency people involved in the preservation of our fisheries.

Our meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month from September to May at the Hanabi restaurant rt 139 Marshfield MA 02050. We have a Raffle and dinner and drinks are available a la carte. Time 7pm to 9pm

Donation for membership dues is $25 for non Captains and $50 for Captains. It is not required to be a member to attend the meetings. Anyone interested join us and attend the next meeting Jan. 12, 2010
