Pit Monkey First Class
Stellwagen 8/12
Heading out to the southern edge on Friday. Acre Shaker, 25' Mako CC, Channel 68, Mike. Shoot me a PM if you want to swap cell numbers and double the amount of water we can cover to find some fish. It's my wife's first trip out with me so I'm under a lot of pressure to produce, also my 31st birthday on Friday so here's hoping for some seared tuna steaks for a birthday dinner.

Pit Monkey First Class
Hit the BE buoy around 5AM and didn't mark anything and didn't see any life. Continued down to the Southern edge and there were a few boats and a lot of life. Whales everywhere as usual, marking a bit here and there. Put in and started dragging. Covered the southern edge back and forth and saw busting tuna, more and more whales, a shark of some kind. Then trolled north up to the BE buoy again and continued north. Eventually got to a point where we were going to give up. Heard a subtle thump, looked back at the transom and saw a 6' BFT slowly swimming away. I hit a tuna! Couldn't catch one but I hit one.
Weather was gorgeous and we all had a great time but no tuna love.
I tried reaching out to everyone who provided their info but didn't get any responses. No big deal, I had nothing to share anyway.
