great job and congratulations on the tourney win! Were those fish on the break?
great job and congratulations on the tourney win! Were those fish on the break?
thanks!
most of the pics were taken with a canon 5d and a bunch of prime lenses. some pics were taken with a nikon d300 and a few F2.8 zoom lenses.
yeah the water was 67.5 degrees for the ride out. it started climbing and we caught fish in 69-70 degree water. as we worked into the 72-73 degree water, there was nothing. so we went back to the 69-70 degree water and found them again, right on the edge of the break.
Great report and great pics! Congrats on the awards. How do you keep the expensive DSLR cameras dry? I've been using the waterproof smaller digital cameras for the past few years with poor quality pics as a result
Congrats! Great post and awesome pics!
Congrats and thnaks for the great report!
GREAT ARTISTIC PICS!
thanks! the DSLR's just go in regular camera bags in cabin. we try to be careful with them, but they do sometimes get splashed. they are a tiny bit weatherproof, and the higher up you go with the dslr's, the more durable they actually are.my d300 body is actually made out of magnesium and is labelled as splashproof.
it has taken a beating, but has taken over 40k pictures and is still clicking away.
here's a short video from the fishing:
