    Squid Boats

Ran a new Jupiter 34 from Hyannis to MacDougalls yesterday.
Lots of birds working outside of Poppy-Its time!
Some of the guys in the yard reported that the Squid boats were out.
    Hope it helps
    Tim

Now you're spoiled. How was the ride? Must have been a little sporty out there yesterday.

Good news on the squid. Squidfest '09 officially kicks off in 2 weeks. You in?

Ride was great-lots of beam and very dry.
But the Yammi 350's were incredible-what a throaty sound!

No other info on the squid boats yesterday-maybe running to MV tomorrow-will keep you posted

I am in for squidfest BTW

I was out running the beach road half an hour ago and 2 boats are heading east into the sun; one has nets in and is working the trench between the shore and Halfway.

Scratch one togging trip; heading towards Collier's for a looksee...

    I'll let you know the plan on SF09. V34 & F350's - nice combo.

Windy & a bit foggy to start on BB yesterday - don't blame you for bagging the togging. It's definitely starting though (finally).

not so fast. I went as far as Collier, dropped repeatedly on mid water marks as well as on the faint shadows I saw just off the bottom in 25'. No hits no runs no squid. The 2 boats in Falmouth got nothing either. water temp ranges from 50.5 to 51.2.

I fished a number of early season spots this weekend and could not raise a 14" schoolie. I did salvage each day with a mud puppy but in late April on a 70 degree day - that's cheating.

going to listen to Mr Magoo in 20 minutes and see what's happening out front.

up in the marshes makes the most sense-or flows on the outgoing...

RI still seems quiet-we are usually a week behind.

I was up to my ears in kids, grass mowing, and marine tex.

Looks like its going to blow all week-

I need a worm guide some night please?
