sat. april 23, winds light, left dock at 5 am. arrived at the honey hole at 6:40. first drift 13 keepers on jigs and pink curlies. slow twitch, just tend bottom. tide slacked, bite off, pick and pick. tide change they turned on, cod and pollock. limits somehow and 15 pollock. winds 40, on our way home! best, capt. jim

The weather buoy never registered over 25 in gusts today. Interesting you say it was blowing 40. I guess we will have to keep an eye on whether or not the buoy is not working properly.

I was on the bank today. And 35' boats were being tossed around like lobster pots.

It was a howlin, but I did yesterday in a 25' cc! 9 knots back to the barn. Boxes just about full however! Some gusts definitely all of 30-35.
