You must have been into the Tuna at some point, so show us some pics...... a lot of boats out there on Friday.....

We went lines in about 4 miles northeast of the Fairway Buoy and trolled at about 6 knots toward the buoy area. Had the first Mahi in the boat within the first 15 minutes of the troll. There were no fliers or other structure around which seemed somewhat odd.

Caught on 6" feathered, purple tuna clone. Also had good luck with a feathered green and yellow daisy chain.

Good luck. I plan to be back down in that area this Friday, but will be on a friend's 62 Ft. Sporty. Should be fun !!!

I think the mud hole area will be this Friday's trip for us which means the bite will be smokin hot on the bank

Waiting for my intel...........fish were still being taken yesterday AM

Finchaser, how big were the mahi? We had them right behind the island years back......great table fare right there............

Thanks Capt. Vin for the report. I will be fishing the area hard all next week - if it is relatively calm. I was going to run spreaders in the early morning and then butterfly jig in the early afternoon. Has anybody had any luck jigging?
Thanks, CDS
