Well there's not a whole lot to the story. Fish was taken off the back side. There are a lot of fish around. We were into fish in shallow and had a couple misses and a hookup and dropped fish on the spinning rods. Pushed a little further out and cracked a couple buds and set up on the troll. Half hour later fish explodes on a black fisherman's outfitter bar with the glow stinger. Monsterous hole in the water... Dumps 400 yards of line off a 50 and settles in for a back and forth battle. When we had it boat side we knew it was over 73 so decided to take it.

This was kind of nice because I wasn't able to get out to fish during the few weeks before the regs changed. It was nice to get a legal one on my first trip out.
