First off Greg....NEVER....secondly how can anyone extrapolate from three days of fishing what is going to be caught in the general category?

Seems like these smaller fish (<73") are being caught on what has worked for the last couple of years, soft plastics and a spreader bar so far. Are comm guys planning on using these lures? I don't think so. Big baits for big fish boys. Obviously, chunking and chumming like in the old days will not work unless you want a swarm of dogfish. So that means live baits. Pogies, bluefish, shad, etc. and hope the bait is big enough to attract the attention of a legal fish. Naturally, you will run into a sub-legal fish taking your offerring, but I don't think it will be as bad as if you were tossing a 9" sluggo at busting fish.
