I have not put a price on the boat yet, on the fence about moving up, but if there are buyers in the market, she's a good boat. The 2006 225 Honda with 600+/- hours on it moves the boat well and is typical efficient, no fume, quiet 4-stroke. I have a couple giants on the boat and a number of rec fish, I have not successfully put a giant into the boat but I think it could be done, as I've had 1200 lbs of dogfish in the bow without much excitement. There are three swivel rod holders and new TACO outriggers, radar, color GPS/Fishfinder - the marks on the GPS are priceless. I have a two year old trailer that has made the trip to Morehead City, NC a couple times and fits the boat perfectly. The T-Top was made by fastech and he installed the outriggers, its one of the nicest features of the boat. I think we can keep it in your price range - email me at capescrod@yahoo.com

My old 20 foot SeaCraft was a great fair weather tuna boat. But it also had the balls to get me and my crew back in when the weather turned ugly. I fished all over Cape cod, from the bay to Stellwagon, to Peaked hill bar. The Regal sword and even made a few trips for Mahi south of the Vineyard. My vote goes for the 20' SeaCraft. I now run a 25' SeaCraft and love that boat as well.

No John. It traveled to Key West with my brother, who is in the Coast Guard, a year ago and he just sold it last month. A small tear came to eye when he sold it but I am way better off with the boat I have now. I was more mad at him for selling it before I could go down there and use it.

They didn't have digital camera's in the late 80's but I was on a panga handlining for mahi, jacks and small yellowfin in the channel between St Lucia and St Kitts when one of the other pangas hooked what to me at the time seemed a monstrous blue marlin on a handline!!!!!

It was everywhere but eventually they and 2 or 3 other panga's subdued it and clubbed it to death at boatside.

I wish I had a camera back then because.....

The marlin was seemingly the same size as the panga though in retrospect knowing what I know now it was probably a 3-400# fish. They deliberately flooded the panga so it was awash and floated the marlin into the boat

They then bailed the boat out, everyone helping out, started the engine and put putted home with tail and bill hanging off opposite sides.

LOL, This is the way some guys up here use to hand line Giants out of Banks Dory's, it really is not as bad as it sounds.
