I've had a 20' Seacraft center console for over 35 years and it is really a skiff compared to my sons' 23' Seacraft. A 20' anything is strictly for bluebird days on the bank or PH.
I know of a 25' SeaVee center console with new power, T top, trailer, and rigged for bluefin for low 20's. Good luck.

We hit the Bank in an 18' Key West last week loaded for bear. Not my sled of choice but it was FAC. I fish mostly the LIS and make it to Block on occasion in my 24' Northcoast. If I was in the market for a trailerable boat, a 22' center seems like the sweet spot for form and function. Reliable engine and Radar don't hurt.

I'm the one with the 18' Keywest and its seen more fish than most. I run to Block, Montauk, Vinyard and Stellwagon out of GH without thinking twice, I've had bigger boats and didn't get the use out of them that I do with this. Whatever you do have a boat that you can trailer if needed, my past three years I've been very successful only because I'm able to trailer to where ever the bite is.

Some days I wish she was bigger, but for my kind of fishing she's perfect...not to mention a 12 hours day of fishing with 130 miles put on and 18 gallons of fuel running at 35 knots

I run my 22 Mako to swc and beyond. She gets it done! She needs a bigger fuel tank, cause they only built em with 50 gallons back in 1973. Would rather have a 23 Seacraft, but beggars cant be choosers

235 Palm Beach abd the 236 Key Largo are a copy of the 23 seacraft hull. If your going to the bank the difference over the 20' class of boats are night and day. This picture was from Last Nov. It was blowing 15+ out of the Northesast. Notice that the water is above the gunnel in the picture. That's why Brian didn't lift the fish for the pic. This hull will handle alot more than any 20 ft hull. and should hit your price point. There is a reason why the 23 seacraft has such a following around Cape Cod ride in one and you'll know

dilligaf- is run by a hardcore guy who commercial fishes his ass off. Ive seen that ******* fish that little boat in 8 footers. hes got more sack than just about anybody I know- the boat name says it all. Do I Look Like I Give A F*uck (DILLIGAF)

"We were out in my brother in law's boat (23 Wellcraft Coastal) on the SWC and it got rough, real rough so we ran into race point in case it got worse and to wait it out. While we were in there pulling some stripers to the boat, This tiny Center Console drives by us with 4 130's heading to the SWC from race point. I thought they were crazy. The name of the boat suited the style lol "DILLIGAF", anybody know this guy or if he's on here. and for all you that don't know what DILLIGAF means pm me lol[/QUOTE]

The dilligaf is a 236 Key Largo same hull as our 235 Palm Beach. I don't know if he's on here Fred, but have seen him in the various locations around the cape bite for a few seasons now
