Sled Dog Race

This is sort of left field, but knowing there are a few dog owners on this board, it's winter, there's no fishing, and it's cold... & it's winter..., I thought I would post it up.

There is an inaugural sled dog race happening this weekend up in S.Hamilton, MA. It should be pretty cool to see, and sounds like they are expecting a good turn-out. It's the real deal - ISDRA sanctioned and all - check it out:

Shouldn't they be using hounds or beagles up there for the event???

I was surprised that there were a couple diff. breeds there - this being my 1st sled dog race. It was fun to watch - the start of the 8 dog teams was mayem. Cool rig you've got there!
