Looks like some bigger pollack are moving into the area. On Saturday's charter I stopped about half way to the haddock grounds to give the guys a break. Dropped a jig to show the guys how to jig (their first time on the ocean), stuck a fish on the 2nd pull, passed off the rod and watched my sport have a ball reeling in this slammer.



Spent the rest of the morning bailing pollack and never made it to the grounds (where the bite on haddock was off the charts from a report I got).

Plenty of fun to be had out there even if Charlie is playing hard to get.
